Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform concept tests to approve the feasibility of processes by designing sample production and conducting line trail test

· Evaluate machinery and processes by collecting data and/or samples to identify, improve and generate appropriate processes and product/process specifications

· Research and assist with purchase of new technology and implement new machine specifications to fit Production requirements

· Responsible for drafting SOP documentation ensuring machinery compatibility for both Production and Maintenance Department

· Establishing strong working relationships with equipment manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments

Qualifications:

· B.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent field

· Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant is an asset

· Experience in the use of design of experiment techniques to solve manufacturing issues

· Hands-on and comfortable working with industrial manufacturing equipment

· Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines and fast-changing workload

·Strong team player and excellent people skills and the ability to communicate at all levels

· Knowledge of current and potential cosmetic trends are an asset

· Ability to work both on Production floor and office
